I would like to attend your classes, but I can’t make all of them due to prior commitments. I am especially interested in any helpful tips for making pie crust.
I hope you can join us for at least one class. Our cookbook will have a good pie crust recipe. But here’s a pie crust tip: #1 is keeping things cold. Use ice water, cold butter or shortening, if crust gets warm as you work it, put it back in the fridge for a bit. Cold pastry is so much easier to work with.

Hi Rene’,
I hope you can join us for at least one class. Our cookbook will have a good pie crust recipe. But here’s a pie crust tip: #1 is keeping things cold. Use ice water, cold butter or shortening, if crust gets warm as you work it, put it back in the fridge for a bit. Cold pastry is so much easier to work with.
Blessings,
Julie
