Wake up your family Christmas morning with the delicious aroma of fresh baked cinnamon rolls…and you don’t even have to get your hands dirty! You’ll find my recipe for Cinnamon Roll Biscuits here. http://bakingwithjulie.com/?p=6787. Once you have rolled up the dough and cut the individual slices, put them on a lined cookie sheet and pop them in your freezer. Once frozen, put them into a zippie bag and leave them in the freezer until you want to bake them. On Christmas morning, preheat your oven and place the frozen rolls in a well greased round cake pan and bake. It will take just a few extra minutes for them to bake from frozen than from making them fresh, but it’s so convenient and the results are almost identical. You can even make the glaze in advance, as the corn syrup in the glaze keeps it from crusting. So there you have it: a scratch made breakfast to warm the heart and the tummy on Christmas morning, and you didn’t even break a sweat!
