I was so excited to have WCYB TV come to our house to interview us, I wanted to give them something special.
So I made a ‘TV’ cake that featured their logos from over the years, with their current logo in the center.
They really loved the cake and even showed it after the interview on their evening newscast. Unfortunately, the cake had travelled a bit since that morning and the anchor held up the cake at a bad angle to show it off, and we could see it starting to slide, live!
I almost had a heart attack watching it in my den, hoping the whole cake wasn’t going to fall apart on live TV, but it held together long enough, thank goodness!
Next time I give away a cake like that, I’m packing it in a cooler!
